University College
Maastricht is
the international broad bachelor program of Universiteit Maastricht. The
College started in September 2002 to give students liberal arts education in
English.

part of Universiteit Maastricht. Universiteit Maastricht is the youngest
university in the Netherlands
(founded in 1976) and currently has about 12,000 students and more than 3,000
employees.
The university has 6 faculties:

- Humanities and Sciences
- Health, Medicine and Life

- Law
- Psychology

Maastricht is
part of the Faculty of Humanities and Sciences. Together the faculties offer
a wide a range of bachelor, master and postgraduate programs. Universiteit
Maastricht has two unique features: it was the first Dutch institution to
adopt the problem-based learning method in all of its educational programs
and most UM educational programs have a strong international perspective.
